In a hard-fought spectacle in Tallahassee, the Miami Hurricanes edged out the FSU Seminoles 28–22 in a dramatic rivalry showdown. From the opening quarter, Miami’s quarterback Carson Beck carved up the Seminole defense, finishing 20-of-27 for 241 yards and 4 touchdowns.
FSU struck first with a field goal, but Miami answered back and steadily built its lead. By the end of the third quarter, the Hurricanes held a commanding 28–3 advantage thanks to dominant offensive drives and a stingy defensive effort.
The Seminoles weren’t done, though — in the fourth quarter they mounted a furious comeback, scoring two touchdowns (including a successful two-point conversion) and then chipping away with a late field goal to close the gap to six.
But Miami held on. They recovered every onside kick attempt and prevented FSU from completing the comeback, sealing the win and adding another chapter to this storied rivalry
