Oklahoma Sooners landed a commitment from linebacker Cooper Witten, the son of former NFL star tight end Jason Witten.
Cooper Witten has been developing into one of the rising linebacker prospects in his class, showing strong instincts, physical tackling ability, and leadership on defense. Growing up around the game with an NFL veteran father, Witten brings both football IQ and competitive toughness to the Sooners’ defense.
Head coach Brent Venables continues building a physical defensive identity, and adding a linebacker with strong fundamentals and football pedigree fits perfectly into that vision.
